Photo courtesy of the products that you will need to prepare the meatballs, the Turkey in the oven. If you have in the fridge Turkey fillet, the meat you can cheat yourself, so much the better. The recipe used prepared store-bought ground Turkey.
First, prepare the rice. Rinse it several times to clean water, then boil until soft. To do this, pour the grits in cold water in a saucepan and place on high heat. After boiling, turn down stove and simmer the rice for about 5 - 7 minutes, then drain the groats in a colander to get rid of excess liquid.
Onions and carrots clean and rinse in clean water. Slice the onion finely, and carrots RUB on a small grater.
Send the chopped vegetables to the mince.
Then add the rice.
Salt to taste, sprinkle with your favourite spices(the recipe I used red pepper, a little nutmeg and hops-suneli).
Mix well. Try to roll one ball, if the meatballs are formed with difficulty and falling apart, add in the mince and one egg and mix again.
Nakataya hands meatballs, about the same size. The number of balls depends on the size you make the meatballs. I got 12 pieces the size of a fist.
Next is the turn of the gravy. Clean the garlic, the Bulgarian pepper, remove seeds and stem. Pepper cut into small strips, tomato slice cubes of medium size, but leave the garlic intact teeth(if they are very big, then cut into 2 or 4 parts). Lay the peppers evenly between the meatballs in the baking dish.
Do the same with garlic and chopped tomato..
In tomato sauce, add a pinch of salt, optional you can add dry Basil, dilute 100 ml. of cold water. Pour the meatballs sauce, cover the form with a lid or foil and send in preheated to 180 degrees oven(mode "top-bottom"). Bake this way for about 30 minutes, then remove foil and leave the meatballs in the oven for another 10-15 minutes for Browning. Remember, time and temperature of roasting may vary, it depends on the oven.
The finished dish sprinkle with fresh herbs and ground pepper as desired. You can bring to the table!
