Pork neck baked in the oven

Prepare pork according to the recipe and pass for excellent hostess! Pork neck is the fattest part of the pork that does not require additional marinades, softening the meat. Sour berries, red onion and sweet honey in this recipe help the pork to open up with the new flavor side. The end result is a true masterpiece!
Keep in mind that ovens are different. Temperature and cooking times may differ from those listed in the recipe.
Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Frozen berries can use any of: blackcurrants, cherries, cranberries, cranberry or even not add. But I strongly suggest to use the berries together with the honey they create a great tandem and perfectly complement the taste of the meat. Red onion can replace with regular onion, but red onion is still preferable - it is more fragrant and less sharp.
Pork neck rinse thoroughly and dry on paper towels. Pork knife, make deep cross cuts, not reaching 2 cm to the bottom. RUB the pork with salt and pepper outside and in the slits.
Onion peel and cut into half rings. At the same time try to half rings were not split into separate segments, because to insert them into the meat to a whole.
Frozen berries (mine is cranberry) put in the bowl of a blender. Add the honey and 1 tbsp oil.

Put the meat in a baking dish and pour over the remaining vegetable oil. Cover the form with foil, making sure foil doesn't touch the meat, or berries and onions will stick to it. Put the pork neck in a preheated 190u00b0C oven for 1 hour. During this time, the piece of pork should be well grilled on the inside.
Then remove the foil, baste the neck of the juice from the bottom of the form. Put the meat in the oven and bake for approximately 30 minutes at 180u00b0C. the Exact time of baking depends on your oven. The top of the neck should be brown.
