Translated from the French word côtelette means cooked piece of meat on the bone (femur or rib). And indeed the word “chicken” comes from the French word côtelé (ribbed) or côte (the edge). The pellet from minced meat (as meat and vegetables) to name the cutlets are much later. If to speak about the burgers, but the kind thereof is in all national cuisines of the world. However, they are called differently, but their essence remains the same. This time cook burgers French. To France, these burgers have nothing to do. And where did this name - is not entirely clear. But the taste is absolutely not interfere.
Prepare the ingredients. To cook chicken French chicken we will need: a large chicken; eggs; mayonnaise; garlic; flour; potato starch (if corn, then take 1.5-2 times); baking powder; dried thyme; dried parsley; black pepper and salt.
Chicken fillet wash, dry, remove films. Meat cut into very small cubes.
In chicken meat add mayonnaise, dried herbs, black pepper and salt. If you wish, you can also add a little spice to chicken or some spices for example curry.
Thoroughly mix the mass until smooth. Leave to marinate for 25 minutes.
Add pressed garlic and egg. Stir again.
Pour the flour, starch and baking powder. Mix the mass until smooth. Leave to marinate for another 10 minutes at room temperature.
In skillet, heat vegetable oil. Tablespoon spread in hot oil chicken ground and form small patties. Fry patties on one side about 6 minutes until Golden brown.
Then flip burgers and cook for about 6-8 minutes under the lid until ready. Check the readiness with a fork, if the inside of the cakes are white and of them clear juice, they are ready. If the meat is pink and the juice in al - burgers need to fry again.
Serve cutlets with any side dish. Perfect boiled rice or mashed potatoes. Bon appetit!
